We no longer accepting proposals for the 2025-2026 school year, but it’s not too early to begin thinking about a proposal for next year (to be carried out in the 2026-2027 school year).

What are the deadlines?
For proposals to be carried out starting in the 2025-2026 school year:
- Oct 9, 2024: Deadline for quick pitches to Program Liaison
- Oct 16-18, 2024: Feedback from quick pitches provided by Program Liaison
- Nov 13, 2024: Full program proposals due to Program Liaison
- Nov 20-22, 2024: Feedback from full program proposals provided by Program Liaison
- Jan 8, 2025: Selected program proposal presentations due to Program Liaison
- Jan 13 & 14, 2025: Program proposals presented to the Program Committee (evening meeting)
- Feb-May, 2025: Proposed programs are notified of approval and funding
The cycle will begin again next year for proposals to be carried out starting in the 2026-2027 school year.
What programs has the Innovation Fund funded?
Did you know that the BHS Innovation Fund has invested in more than 30 programs totaling over $7 million invested in BHS in the 25 years of the Fund? At the BHS Innovation Fund, our mission is to catalyze innovation at BHS by supporting faculty-driven curricular initiatives that will inspire our students and prepare them to thrive in a changing world. That means we invest in YOU!
Here are just some of the programs and BHS faculty that the Fund has supported over the years:
- Heritage Spanish-Speaker Pathway
- Queer Student Program (QSP)
- Social Emotional Learning Tutorial (SEL-T)
- Data Science and Social Justice
- Climate Science and Social Change
- EPIC (Experiential, Project-based, Innovative, Capstone)
