What’s the Big Idea: World Cafe: A Discussion of Race in Brookline

May 4, 2016 @ 7:00 pm

Please join us on Wednesday, May 4th, at 7pm, in the Schluntz Gym at Brookline High School for the last in a series of three events which comprise this year’s What’s the Big Idea Forum on Race and Community.

The World Cafe is built on the assumption that people already have within them the wisdom and creativity to confront even the most difficult challenges; that the answers we need are available to us; and that we are wiser together than we are alone. Students, educators, parents, community members and town officials will come together in a collaborative way to identify challenges we face as a town around race, and try to identify action steps we can take to address them.

The BHS 21st Century Fund and PTO are proud to bring this series in collaboration with the Brookline Department of Diversity, Inclusion, and Community Relations; the Brookline Community Foundation; Steps to Success; the Brookline METCO Program; the Brookline Interactive Group; and members of the BHS faculty.

Don’t miss this chance to connect with the high school and its students, and to strengthen our community! REGISTRATION CLOSED
